First Response

In any emergency the first 60 minutes are critical.


Any time wasted during this so called golden hour can mean the difference between life and death. First Response aims to close the gap between an incoming call and the emergency services arriving on scene by quickly capturing the location of the caller. To further assist the responders, the caller is able to send photos and a live video stream directly to them whilst en-route. This enables the responders to carry out early triage or prepare for a developing situation before arrival at the scene.

  • Increases efficiency of the call centre by reducing the amount of time required for call handlers to establish the location of the caller.
  • Provides a case management interface that allows calls to be passed between operators in the event of a call failure or escalation.
  • Delivers real time situational information to the supervisor, enabling them to make more effective decisions about what response to provide to the call.

Caller

  • Works with all three major smart phone platforms.
  • Utilises the built-in functionality of the phone without requiring the caller to have an App installed.
  • Has been optimised to work even when the caller has a poor mobile data signal.

Call Handler

  • Works with all major web browsers, therefore does not require any software to be installed on the call handlers workstation.
  • Can instantly locate and track a caller to within two metres *
  • Provides the call handler with both coordinates and a simple three word location system in the event the caller's data connection fails.
  • Call handlers can forward the incoming call information to an on route responder.

Responder

  • Compatible with iOS, Android and Windows Mobile.
  • Delivers real time information (location, video**, high resolution photos) from the caller directly to the responder's tablet or smart phone.

Supervisor

  • Provides a simple and intuitive user interface, minimising training requirements.
  • Utilises a cloud based architecture for quick deployment and scaling.
  • Securely stores all video and photo's sent from the caller, these can then be exported for use in any subsequent investigation.
  • Keeps a time stamped audit trail of all call data and actions.
  • Has been designed to enable a future integration with the CAD system
* The accuracy of the location is dependant on the hardware and signal strength of the caller's mobile phone** Video is currently only available when the caller is using an Android handset.
